Method
- 1 Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente. ⏱ 10mUses: spaghetti
- 2 While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-low heat.Uses: olive oil
- 3 Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring frequently, until garlic is golden. ⏱ 2mUses: garlic, red pepper flakes
- 4 Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- 5 Add the drained pasta to the garlic oil. Toss vigorously, adding pasta water a splash at a time until a silky sauce forms.
- 6 Remove from heat. Toss with chopped parsley, season with salt and pepper.Uses: fresh parsley, Salt and black pepper to taste
- 7 Serve immediately with a drizzle of olive oil.
