Method

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente. ⏱ 10m

    While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-low heat.

    Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring frequently, until garlic is golden. ⏱ 2m

    Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.

    Add the drained pasta to the garlic oil. Toss vigorously, adding pasta water a splash at a time until a silky sauce forms.

    Remove from heat. Toss with chopped parsley, season with salt and pepper.
    Uses: fresh parsley, Salt and black pepper to taste
